Baja Broadband moves to Lancaster County

Baja Broadband is moving its headquarters to Lancaster County from south Charlotte.
The company has leased 17,107 square feet in The Rutledge Building at 521 Corporate Center. The 67-acre office park is three miles south of Ballantyne, just below the state line.

The center is a Crosland project developed by Merrifield Partners.

Baja Broadband owns and operates broadband-cable systems. The company has more than 67,000 residential and commercial customers.

"Lancaster County is excited about Baja Broadband's decision to locate in the Indian Land area," says Keith Tunnell, president of the Lancaster County Economic Development Corp. "We look forward to having Baja join our growing list of corporate headquarters that have discovered that locating in Lancaster County is a sound business decision."

Michael Bilodeau of Merrifield Partners represented the landlord, and Charles Jonas of Trinity Partners represented the tenant.
